* The shoeon should not be confused with the shoeoff, which is the quantum of nursery rhyme.
  The shoeon should not be confused with anything at all for that matter, especially clothes. The clothe, the quantum of clothing, is rarely worn because an “article” of clothing almost always contradicts itself by being plural. No one says, “Where’s my trouser?” Well, I’ve just written it so I suppose someone might say it, but you see the point. An exception is the singlet of which only one can possibly exist.
